On Friday October 2, congregants of Temple Emanu-El celebrated the holiday of Succot.
During the afternoon, members of Brotherhood gathered greenery at a local farm and then erected the synagogue’s two succot — one inside our sanctuary and one outside in the Temple garden.
Families then gathered during the late afternoon to decorate the two succot, worship Shabbat evening services, and enjoy our annual succot potluck dinner.
Worship and a meal shared with extended family — it doesn’t get any better than that !
